Homework and Supporting your child at home:
Children will be given a homework wheel at the start of each new term. There will be a selection of 6 activities linking to a different area of the curriculum. Each week the children should choose one task to complete from the wheel.    
Homework will be given out on a Friday and should be  handed in by the following Wednesday for marking.  A piece of Maths homework will be set weekly on the www.mymaths.co.uk website.
READING: Reading records will be regularly checked if they are handed in so that the class teacher can review and monitor your child’s progress. Children should aim to read to an adult for a minimum of three times a week.
WEEKLY SPELLINGS: Children will be issued with spellings on a Monday which they should learn during the week ready for a test the following Monday.
