Homework and supporting your child at home:
READING: Continue to hear your child read regularly to benefit your child’s learning, understanding and enjoyment of reading. Please use the yellow reading record books to list any reading achievements and make any comments you wish to share.
SPELLINGS: Children will have spellings to learn for a weekly test on a Wednesday, with new words given on the Thursday. Spelling is so important to communicating clearly.
ENGLISH: English homework will be set and handed out to pupils on Thursdays. Wherever possible, the tasks will be linked to work which has been taught in class. Please return by the following Monday.
MATHS: Maths homework will be set using MyMaths.com and will  be set for the pupils on Thursdays. The tasks will reflect the topics covered in class. Please ensure tasks are completed by the following Monday. An optional homework will be given on Monday to be returned on Friday using and applying the topics covered.
